Advanced Weighing Technology NT has been supplying, installing, servicing, and certifying weighing equipment for a diverse range of clients across the Northern Territory and northern Western Australia since 1997. As a locally owned business based in Winnellie, we take pride in our team’s extensive expertise, with a collective experience of over 100 years in the weighing industry.
Our knowledge encompasses a wide range of equipment types and capacities, including mechanical, electronic, and digital weighing systems. We handle instruments measuring in micrograms, as well as heavy-duty equipment capable of weighing over 100 tonnes—including systems for loaders and forklifts.
While the majority of our clients operate businesses requiring industrial weighing systems, including weighbridges, the number of clients from the retail, medical, and scientific sectors is increasing. The equipment we sell, service, and certify varies, from a simple market scale at Rapid Creek to advanced hopper systems in a concrete plant, either fixed or mobile.
Our expertise extends to loader scales and weighbridges at mine sites and quarries, computerised scales in butcher shops, and precision balances in laboratory settings—such as those used for testing soil moisture at mine sites.
What we sell, we service. As an NMI (National Measurement Institute) approved servicing licensee and a NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) accredited provider, we ensure compliance with industry standards. Our NATA accreditation covers balances and mass calibration, while our NMI servicing license allows us to issue NMI Certificates of Accuracy for Trade Equipment.
For non-trade equipment, we can also provide calibration reports to meet your needs.
